With over 25 years of experience, Rici Conger, ASID, has worked in all aspects of  interior design: residential, commercial, and hospitality. As an Interior Designer, I try to balance a client's needs and desires with design that is appropriate environmentally, culturally, and spiritually. By weaving all these elements together, it is my goal to achieve an interior that is timeless and beautiful.

Michele D'Amico
, ASID

Michele L. D’Amico is the managing partner for d’Amico Design Group, LLC which was established in 1995. Prior to establishing her own firm in Hawaii she worked on the mainland and in Hawaii specializing in interior architecture. Michele graduated from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC with a degree in architecture in 1985. Prior to relocating to Hawaii in 1988 to marry a local resident, she worked for 2 companies specializing in US Embassies and Consulates. The work was both fascinating and challenging. Upon arriving in Honolulu she worked for 2 large firms: AM Partners where she specialized in retail design and Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo where she worked on various hotel projects. During her time with AM Partners, she earned a MBA degree from University of Phoenix on weekends.

Dian Cleve , ASID

1990 to Present President of Cleve & Levin Inc, Architecture and Interior Design

Dian Cleve is Principal-In-Charge of Interior Design. In 25 years of work in Honolulu, Dian has participated in many major design projects and has been the interior designer for projects that have won American Institute of Architect Design Awards and BIA Renaissance Design Awards. Her work has toured in a statewide tour of architectural work and has been exhibited at the Honolulu Academy of Art. Ms. Cleve's responsibilities include design, space planning, product and materials specifications, project coordination and client relations.

Kathleen Iwamoto, Allied Member

With more than 28 years of living and working in Kona, on the Island of Hawaii, Kathleen Iwamoto has recently transplanted herself to Honolulu to seek more opportunities and expand her horizons. A visit to Kona in 1979, Kathleen's creativity as a designer was not only inspired by the natural beauty of the Hawaiian islands, but she discovered a love for the Hawaiian culture and lifestyle, which she has embraced through the years. With nearly 20 years of experience in the interior design industry, and as a member of ASID for many years, Kathleen has established valuable relationships both professionally and personally. Her membership in a professional, nationally based organization that promotes and supports professionalism of interior designers, has opened many new opportunities for career.

Peggy Krantz

Peggy Krantz, Director of Design Studio, has supported the design industry for over 25 years. Her education includes degrees in  Art, Architecture and
Business Marketing preparing her for ownership & management of a fine art, custom framing & art consulting business that she maintained for 20 years on the mainland with her main focus; assisting Interior Designers. For the last 3 years in Hawaii, Peggy has been focused on building Design Studio,
providing a full service program from sourcing art, creating, producing, framing to installing. Design Studio supports Interior Designers on their
projects, specializing in the Hospitality Industry.


Professional Development Director
Tiare Cowan, Allied Member

Tiare Cowan was born and raised in Hawaii. She attended Chaminade University’s Interior Design Program and apprenticed under Liz Howard FASID for 7 years. She opened her own design firm, TCB Island Interiors and was co-owner of Studio Becker with her brother Rick. In 2007, both companies were combined to create Archipelago refined island interiors, a full service design firm offering complete home design, as well as kitchen, bath and wardrobe design.

Giselle Ribeiro

Giselle Ribeiro is an Interior Design student at Chaminade University of Honolulu, with a minor in Communications and an extensive background in Graphic Design and Multimedia. She has been an active member of the ASID Student Chapter for 2 years. Her interests include Green Design, Feng Shui, nature, communications and owning her own company.
