President's Message Aloha Members and Friends, Here is wishing you a joyous holiday season and hoping you can take time with family and friends to savor “the moment.”
It was wonderful to have the opportunity at the ASID Christmas Party to meet so many in our Oahu and neighbor island design communities. Thank you, each of you who came, it really made the start to holidays special. Outside-Inside Creations hosted us at the Gentry Pacific Design Center. The evening was so enjoyable; the guest’s fabulous personalities really “lit up the evening.” Thank you to TSA for allowing us to bring from Maui the Lilikoi Cheesecake with Lilikoi Butter topping and the Chocolate Sacher Mousse Torte.
It is exciting to hear that the design community is experiencing a refreshing expansion, and we congratulate all of our hard-working designers who have been striving to excel. There are so many ways to incorporate professional growth: continued education; new marketing strategies; furthering product knowledge; and being as creative as possible in a very challenging environment.
Ferguson’s and Hansgrohe hosted us in their showroom to learn great ways that social marketing and internet resources can help grow our businesses.
This is a great time of year to reflect on our accomplishments and plan for the coming year. All experiences begin with an idea, and are manifested from there. Let’s “dream big” and see what develops!

ASID Hawaii Website Tips: Forget how to log in to our website? Go to www.asidhawaii.net and click on Log In near the top of the page. If you have a common first name and your name alone doesn't work, trying adding a 1 (example: Jane1). Update your online profile by adding a picture, retail location, bio or other information. Click on Members Only and then click If you are updating your contact info, don't forget to also go to the national website and update your info as well.
